Apple enthusiasts have been eagerly awaiting news about the next generation of iPad models. While the company recently released new M3 MacBook Pro models instead of the anticipated iPad Pro refresh, reports suggest that Apple has big plans for its iPad lineup in 2024.
According to reliable sources, Apple is set to upgrade its entire iPad lineup next year, starting with the iPad Pro models in the first half of 2024. Renowned tech analyst Mark Gurman has revealed that Apple will launch the highly anticipated OLED iPad Pro models in March.
In addition to the iPad Pro, a new report suggests that Apple may announce an entry-level iPad in the second half of 2024. This affordable option is expected to feature an A16 Bionic chip and improved camera hardware.
Apple is also making significant changes to its production processes. The company is reportedly partnering with China’s BYD to shift its new production introduction resources to Vietnam. This move is expected to streamline the manufacturing process and ensure efficient production of the forthcoming 11th-generation iPad.
While the design of the iPad 11 is likely to remain similar to the current model, Apple may introduce new color options to freshen up the lineup. The device is expected to feature an upgraded A16 Bionic chip for enhanced performance.
Alongside the iPad 11, Apple is rumored to announce the iPad mini 7 with upgraded internals. This smaller tablet could house an A17 Pro chip based on TSMC’s advanced 3nm process, offering improved performance, particularly for gaming.
Apple will also be launching the iPad Air and OLED iPad Pro models in March, with the iPad Pro featuring the M3 chip and the iPad Air housing the M2 chip. Additionally, a larger version of the iPad Air with a 12.9-inch LCD is expected to be unveiled.
With these exciting updates and improvements to its iPad lineup, Apple continues to innovate and provide users with cutting-edge technology.
