A recent leak suggests that Samsung may introduce the Galaxy S24 FE later this year, following an unusual decision to skip a model in between the Galaxy S21 FE and the Galaxy S23 FE. While information is still limited, key specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE have been shared by a tipster on X (formerly Twitter) known as @OreXda.
One notable change anticipated in the Galaxy S24 FE is a potentially smaller 6.1-inch AMOLED display compared to its predecessor’s 6.4-inch screen. The smartphone is rumored to be powered by either the Exynos 2400 SoC or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, with the global variant possibly exclusively using the Exynos processor. The device is expected to feature 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, with storage options of 128GB and 256GB UFS 3.1. Additionally, a 4,500mAh battery, similar to its predecessor, is said to power the handset.
While details regarding the camera setup, design, and color options have not been disclosed, it is worth noting that the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, launched in October 2023, features a 6.4-inch Dynamic full-HD AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is equipped with the Exynos 2200 chipset in India, offering 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The device boasts a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 12-megapixel ultrawide shooter, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera. For selfies and video calls, it houses a 10-megapixel front camera within a center-aligned hole-punch cutout. The device is fueled by a 4,500mAh battery with 25W wired charging support.
While details about the Galaxy S24 FE remain speculative, further rumors are expected to emerge in the coming months leading up to its potential launch in the fourth quarter of this year. Stay tuned for more updates on Samsung’s upcoming device.
