Google has officially announced that Google I/O 2024 will be on May 14th. The event will be held at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California and hosted by CEO Sundar Pichai.
At Google I/O 2024, Google is expected to showcase some latest developer tools and technologies for the developer community. And yes, the highlight will be the release of Android 15 Beta 2, which followed the release of the first Android 15 developer preview the previous month. However, it remains uncertain if the Pixel Fold 2 will also appear at the event.
Last year, Google introduced new features to Wear OS, and this year we can expect announcements about Android XR, AI improvements, and more, as shown in the puzzle. In a blog post on the developer’s blog, Google says that “the Gemini Age opens up new possibilities for developers to build creative and productive AI-powered applications,” so attendees can take a look access to gain insights on how to efficiently and effectively design AI applications
Google I/O 2024 will feature more than 100 sessions, workshops, codelabs, and demos, allowing attendees to delve into topics of interest. Developers will be able to learn the latest developments in mobile, web, and multiplatform development and insights into scaling applications in the cloud.
