Google has announced a new redesign for its Account sign-in page, which will be implemented across all services. The updated design follows the Material 3 guidelines and aims to provide a more modern and consistent look across Google’s products.
The redesigned Google Account sign-in and sign-up pages feature a number of changes. On desktop, the page is no longer centered. Instead, the email/phone text field is positioned to the right, while the left side displays the Google logo and other relevant information. The buttons have also been updated, with a pill-shaped button for “Next” and other buttons presented as plain text.
The design incorporates Material 3’s default accent color, with a white background for the inner rectangle and a slightly darker gray color for the outer section. At the bottom of the page, users will find a language switcher, Help, Privacy, and Terms options.
The redesigned sign-in page will also be available on mobile devices, where it is expected to be centered and resemble the current design. Google emphasizes that this visual change does not impact functionality and there are no changes to how the sign-in process works.
The rollout of this sign-in page redesign begins today and will be gradually available to all personal Google Account and Workspace customers in the coming weeks. Users can look forward to a more visually appealing and cohesive sign-in experience across Google’s services.
